Weather improves across J&K, Srinagar record minus 0.4

After having a widespread rain and snowfall, weather across Jammu and Kashmir improved today.

A Meteorological Department official said that the dry, cloudy weather is expected during next three to four days.

Srinagar, the summer capital of the state recorded a low of minus 0.4 while the mercury in Qazigund in south Kashmir settled at a low of minus 4.0 degrees Celsius.

The ski resort Gulmarg was at minus 10.5 and tourist destination Pahalgam was at minus 9.2.

Jammu city was at 6.5, Katra 5.0, Batote minus 2.5, Banihal minus 5.0 and Bhaderwah both recorded minus 4.0 degrees Celsius.
