Previous boss clergyman and National Conference VP Omar Abdullah on Thursday lashed out at the Congress party over its methodology towards Jammu and Kashmir.

"It says a ton regarding the Congress party and its way to deal with J&K. There hasn't been a solitary decision meeting by its authority," Omar said in a tweet.

He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah did not address the decision arouses in the valley but rather they have not overlooked the state either.

"Balance this with the quantity of encourages tended to by Modi ji and Amit Shah. They might not have gone to the valley but rather they didn't disregard the state," Omar said.

He said that the BJP was essentially given a walkover by the Congress in the state.

"The Congress was in with a battling chance in 4 of the 6 seats and in 3 of these the BJP was the principle rival. It's peculiar how the BJP was basically given a walkover to the extent the optics of the crusade were concerned," Omar tweeted

There are six Lok Sabha situates in Jammu and Kashmir – Baramulla, Jammu, Srinagar, Udhampur, Anantnag and Ladakh.

Two seats in the state will go to surveys in the fifth period of races that is on May 6.

The checking of votes will happen on May 23.
