It has been more than two months since Jammu and Kashmir neutralized Article 370. Gradually the situation is becoming normal in the valley, first schools of the valley were opened and college-universities are also opening from today. They were stopped as a precaution in the valley only after 5 August.
School-colleges were opened in Jammu region much earlier. But they are being opened gradually in the valley, first the inter-school schools were opened here. Now it is the turn to open universities and colleges.
However, it is still a matter of concern for the administration that the presence of students in schools is not in good numbers.
Travelers are welcome in Kashmir!
Recently, the advisory issued by the Jammu and Kashmir administration to tourists in the valley was withdrawn. That is, from October 10, tourists will now be able to come to the valley and stay. On 5 August, when the central government decided on Article 370, tourists were sent out of Jammu and Kashmir.
Are there still restrictions in Kashmir?
There are many restrictions in Jammu and Kashmir for the last 64 days. Whether it is landline or mobile Internet, although restrictions are being gradually reduced by the government.
According to the central government, now 90 percent restrictions have been lifted from the valley . Several petitions have also been filed in the Supreme Court to remove the restrictions imposed in the valley.
Significantly, thousands of security forces are still deployed in Jammu and Kashmir and are constantly monitoring the situation. Things are slowly moving towards normal in the valley, markets are opening up and general movement has also increased.
