Young Rising Dance Star, Jammu’s first online dance competition concludes

Young Rising Dance Star 2017, Jammu’s first online dance competition organised by Jammu Links News concluded on November 5 at Government Polytechnic Auditorium, Jammu.
The Young Rising Dance star had two age categories which were 7-10 and 11-14. The concept was instigated with an aim to provide a talent platform for the children of Jammu. The contest ran in three phases where in the first phase the contestants needed to submit their dance videos and qualifying for the top contender round depending upon public voting and judges opinion on same.
In the second phase, top eight in each category were selected and given judges choice songs on which further voting happened. The third and final phase was to perform live in front of judges and the audiences. The young and the enthusiastic top 16 dancers moved the audience with their stunning performances so much and the judges, Dr. Priya Dutta – Classical Dance Maestro, HoD Kathak Department IMFA, JU, Akash Dogra – Dance Choreographer, Masters in Choreography and Amit Dubey – Maestro Choreographer and Ghetto Trainer had a tough time to search for the best.
The participants were awarded with certificates, trophies and cash prizes. The winners of 7-10 age group category Ribhav Gupta, Aamya Mona and Harsheer Singh bagged as first, second and third respectively. In the 11-14 age group category, Sana Kesar, Ishaan Manga and Suhani Kapoor stood first, second and third respectively.
Young Rising Dance Star was sponsored by Shree Toyota and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Hospital, Kakryal and also saw enormous cooperation coming from supporting partners, 92.7 BIG FM and Take 1 Channel.
