All is not good between PDP and BJP in Jammu & Kashmir , which can be sensed with PDP MLA Yasir Reshi refused to take oath and PDP MLCs kept themselves away from the Oath ceremony of newly elected MLC s in Jammu on Thursday.
PDP leaders including CM Mehbooba Mufti are furious on defeat of party candidate Abdul Qayoom Dar on Jammu province seat , which was assured as safe seat by BJP, BJP candidate Vikram Randhawa won though lottery on the seat.
Sources also went on to say that in early morning meeting on the day of MLC voting, BJP assured support to PDP and it was also decided that one BJP man may vote in favour of PDP candidate to keep him safe (with 30 votes as they were not sure of independent MLA from Zanskar) as decided, which did not happen.
Sources said that CM Mehbooba Mufti is likely to meet PM Narendra Modi and BJP National President Amit Shah and express disappointment on the whole incidence which created embarrassment for the party.
With condition deteriorating day on day in Kashmir and with Civil secretariat to open soon in Srinagar , CM Mehbooba may demand for fool-proof measures from Centre , else situation may go beyond her control.
With immense pressure coming up from PDP leaders to break alliance with BJP in J&K , next two months are crucial for the alliance , whether they can swim against the wave , will be cleared in next two months.
