RSS complains about BJP ministers’ arrogance to Shah; reshuffle on cards

With BJP National President, Amit Shah concluding his two-day Jammu visit today, a reshuffle in state BJP is on cards, as Veerbhawan, the RSS Headquarters in Jammu discussed with Shah the “arrogance of the state BJP ministers”, sources said.

The prominent RSS leaders of Jammu and Kashmir including Ramesh Pappa, Sangh Prant Pracharak, Rupesh Kumar, Sangh Seh-Prant Pracharak, Purshotam Dadicchi, Sangh Prant Karyawah, Ashwani Kumar, Sangh Seh-Prant Karyawah, Ashok Koul, BJP General Secretary (Organization) today met with Amit Shah, Ram Lal, BJP National General Secretary (Organization) and Dr. Anil Jain, BJP National General Secretary at RSS Headquarters, Veerbhawan in Jammu.

The meeting of RSS leaders with Amit Shah started at 9:30 after a breakfast hosted by state RSS leaders at Veerbhawan, Jammu. The meeting lasted for around 1:30 hours.

As per sources, in the meeting, BJP National President, Amit Shah and National BJP leaders were apprised about number of issues by the state RSS functionaries but the thirst was laid on tension in Kashmir, illegal settlement of Rohingyas in Jammu and Samba, arrogance of state BJP leaders and issues of West Pakistani Refugees (WPR) and Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) Refugees.

Sources said, in the 1:30 hours long meeting, Amit Shah told the RSS functionaries that efforts are afoot to restore normalcy in Kashmir valley. Shah also lauded the role security forces are playing in valley.

Shah told the RSS and BJP leaders present in the meeting that in Kashmir Valley, certain elements, inimical to peace, are using students and youths as canon fodders to settle their own scores.

“Your responsibility is to reach out to people of Kashmir and tell them about such people,” Shah told RSS and BJP leaders, as per sources.

Shah also said that even some mainstream politicians of Valley are leaving no stone unturned to provoke the youths against the government and security forces.

“But we wouldn’t let them be successful and hope that Kashmiri youths will also understand the dirty politics being played on the corpses in Kashmir Valley,” Shah told those attending the meeting.

On complaints about some BJP leaders not listening to BJP workers, RSS and commoners, Shah, as per sources, said, “Such leaders will have to pay, as BJP’s only motto is not to come to power but to serve people.”

If sources are to be believed, Amit Shah will recommend some new names to be included in the J&K Council of Ministry by dropping two to three ministers having against them highest number of complaints, to BJP State President, Sat Sharma (CA) and BJP General Secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul.

On illegal settlement of Rohingyas, Shah told the BJP and RSS functionaries that center has already taken this issue seriously and that a meeting in this context has already been held by the Union Home Secretary, Rajeev Mehrishi with J&K DGP, SP Vaid and former state Chief Secretary, BR Sharma.

Some RSS leaders, who attended the meeting with Amit Shah, told The agency, “When we discussed with Shah the plight of PoJK and WPR refugees, he irritably said that he was not happy with the response of refugees towards the special package announced by the PM.”

The RSS leaders said that according to Shah, only 1800 refugee families have registered online for the PM’s Special package as on date.
