Criminologist Society of J&k in collaboration with Nagbani Alumni conducted an interaction session with the senior students of MHAC Nagbani on 25th April 2017 at School premises. The esteemed members on the said occasion were Mr Rameshwar Singh Jamwal , President Criminologists Society, Mr BS Manhas (Sr Lawyer), Mr Ranjit Singh Jamwal, Advocate and an Alumni of the school Brigadier Balbbir Singh along with other lawyers. Mrs Shashi Manhas, Prof Deptt of Adolescent Education also accompanied the team.
The president of the Society apprised the students about the alarming increase in all sorts of crimes like cyber crime, drug peddling, social crimes and how the children specially in the age group of 16-20 getting allowed to the world of crime.
Mr Ranjit Singh Jamwal made students aware of early signs of developing criminal attitude. He also instructed the preventive measures.
Brig Balbir Singh highlighted the value of discipline & honesty in life.
Mrs Shashi Manhas educated the students about inculcation of emotional and spiritual values when the unprecedented decline of moral values is taking place in today‘s children. She highlighted how to hone our skills in life and cope up with the pressure which the children succumb to in these pressing times.
Mr Naveen Jandial, Mr RS Durswal, Mr Kuldeep Singh, Mr Suresh Sharma, Mr Amarinder S Manhas, Mr Ashwani Kumar & Mr Pawan Dev Singh also participated in this interactive session with the students.
Principal applauded the efforts of criminology society in mending the behavior of young students to get into main stream of life and thanked all the esteemed members for feeling the concern of problems of young children. The students also interacted very enthusiastically with the speakers and enquired about many laws and their impact on society.
