The Board of Development for Sports in India (BDSI) will organise a series of adventure sports-cum-grooming camps at Patnitop with special focus on the grooming of young minds through exposure to life skills and understanding of Dogra culture and heritage.

Amit Sethi, BDSI director, while briefing the media , said these camps would be the first of their kind for the youth of the state. He added that each camp would be held for a duration of six days and five nights.
“The first camp will start on the eve of World Environment Day on June 4. The motive is to provide an opportunity to the youth to learn about the basic survival techniques, develop leadership qualities, become a team player, get an exposure to life skills and also generate awareness of Dogra culture, heritage and heroes,” Sethi said.
