Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment Choudhary Lal Singh hosted ‘At Home’ here at his residence on the eve of 71st Independence Day.
A galaxy of popular artists presented a scintillating cultural show on the occasion featuring Hindi, Dogri and Kashmiri songs, besides dance performances.
Speaking on the occasion Lal Singh appreciated the artists for giving their best to make the Independence Day evening memorable. He also hailed artists for preserving the rich Dogra culture of the state and carrying forward the legacy.
Deputy Commissioner Kathua Ramesh Kumar, ADC Dr. Bharat Bhushan, ASP Khalil Poswal, HODs of the forest department, officers of police and district administration, prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
