GGM Science College in its endeavour to encourage the need for sustainability and enterprise in the current economic scenario partnered with Jagriti Sewa Sansthan in collaboration with Coca-Cola India, today organised a programme to impart information about the flagships annual programme and sustainable enterprise award completion.
The motive of the event was to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth. About 100 students from various colleges participated in the event.
Students were acquainted with the mission and vision of the Jagriti Sewa Sansthan.Maruti Sharma, founder, University of Life-A training & research foundation. a leading poet and author shared his views with the students and encouraged them to come up as entrepreneurs and become job creators instead of job seekers. Jagriti team members from Bombay spoke at length about the Jagriti Yatra and called upon the students to get enrolled in huge numbers.
Babar Afzhal, founder of Global Pashmina Goat Project and the only Pashmina activist in the world, made the audience aware of the challenges faced by the Pashmina Artisans and threw light on his efforts to connect these original stakeholders into global luxury and fashion industry. He motivated the students, to be honest to every minute of their life and put in very best so as to succeed, to define bigger motives in life and follow them earnestly.
