Balbir asks BJP ministers to address people’s grievances

Expressing his grave concern over total failure of system in whole J and K in general and Jammu in particular, Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) and Congress leader Thakur Balbir Singh said that every section of the society is bearing brunt of the governance deficit. He said that failure of the BJP ministers to establish communication with the common masses has further compounded situation in this region. Addressing a function after inaugurating his office at Kathua, Thakur Balbir Singh said that system has been paralysed in whole State but situation is worst in Kathua District where people are forced to come on streets for getting basic amenities like drinking water, power and health services. Singh regretted that instead of taking some effective steps to solve problems of the masses, this regime has been further multiplying miseries of the people through its wrong policies. "It is unfortunate that BJP ministers are not ready to learn any lesson from the mistakes and instead of providing governance to the people they are only criticising previous governments" he pointed and added that during nearly three years this government has not taken even a single step in the interests of people. "It is unfortunate that government is only concerned about giving statements to befool the people", he observed. While exhorting the party workers to expose misdeed of this regime before the common masses, he said that aim of opening office at Kathua is to provide opportunity to the people to highlight their grievances. Singh said that it is high time to come on streets against anti-people policies of the coalition regime. He pointed out that in every nook and corner of Jammu region people were complaining about failure of the system. He regretted that people are at the verge to starvation due to non availability of ration but the authorities were unconcerned towards miseries of the common masses. Ex MLA Girdhari Lal Chalotra, Pankaj Dogra, Paramjit Singh, Pawan Sharma, Arvinderpal Singh, Sardar Khan, Jagdish Dogra, Gagan Singh, Jagdish Singh Jasrotia ,Satpaul Bhandari ,Surjeet Singh jamwal ,Ramchand ,Karan Singh and others also spoke on the occasion.
