Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh on Friday called for effective use of cost-effective technology in constructions so that the cost escalations and other related things are checked and people provided with the viable alternatives as well to ensure putting in place speedy and economical infrastructure.
The Deputy Chief Minister was speaking while inspecting the Building centre at Bemina here today. Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Ms Asiea Naqash was also present.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that adotion of cost effective technology is a need which needs to be properly propagated so that people can make economical dwelling units and other constructions sothat the housing facilities become affordable to everybody.
He said the technological interventions in undertaking constructions would also address different other issues like costing and other environmental and ecological factors.
Minister of State Asiea Naqash also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the need for introducing cost-effective building techniques in carrying out constructions.
