The NIA on Thursday recorded an accuse sheet in association of an instance of plunder of weapons, including seven AK arrangement attack rifles, from the living arrangement of a previous PDP MLA in Jammu and Kashmir.
The organization named Adil Bashir Sheik, a unique cop (SPO) sent at the Srinagar habitation of Wachi MLA Aijaz Ahmad Mir, and Rafique Ahmad Bhat, a fear monger, as it recorded the indictment grumbling under the watchful eye of an extraordinary court in Jammu.
They have been charged under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) and the Arms Act, the organization said. Seven AK rifles, a gun and some other ammo were plundered from the MLA's home on September 28 a year ago.
The NIA assumed control over the case from state police.
A National Investigation Agency representative said the two, alongside Yawar Ahmad Dar, "stole the weapons from government quarter allocated to the previous PDP MLA while he was away and his security gatekeepers had gone to their homes deserting the weapons".
"SPO Sheik went into the house on the guise of cleaning it while the other two held up outside in a Maruti Alto vehicle. From there on, they deserted with the weapons and ammo and fled towards Achan town and concealed the weapons in a field. In the wake of submitting the offense, all the three joined the positions of Hizbul Mujahideen, a restricted dread outfit," the representative said in an announcement.
During test, the representative stated, the job of Syed Naveed Babu of Shopian and Hizbul administrator Riyaz Naikoo moniker Mohammad Bin Qasim went to the fore for radicalizing and preparing the three charged.
While Bhat was captured by the NIA last December from Pulwama, Dar and another fear based oppressor Abid Manzoor Magray were executed by security powers in independent experiences in the Kashmir Valley early this year while Naikoo keeps on being on their radar.
