Sometimes people believe that anything we do to help another person, we get something in return. Sad but true! However, not all people do this just for their selfish intentions but few do this to feel good about themselves and show that they care.
When you do a favour and expect to be returned, then you are doing business not kindness. Simple things become complicated when you hope too much. The truth is I like to help people. It makes me feel good to give. I don't do it in order to get anything back. I just believe that the more you give, the more you receive. It's human nature to want to repay. But honestly, it's because giving is a gift.
"If you expect someone's generosity, it is no longer generosity. On the flip side of that, if you only do something to get something in return, it's not generosity."
We people should understand the importance of giving without expecting anything in return. I know it's not that easy but try once and see how you feel .
Also, there is nothing wrong with random acts of human kindness. You can throw some good will out into the wind and just be satisfied that if even in a very small way, you just made the world a better place for some random person, instead of expecting a return in kind
