The clashes between security forces and Jallikattu supporters have immensely escalated, with the protesters going all out to get a permanent solution on Jallikattu, a traditional sport which claimed two lives on Sunday.

> The protesters torched the Ice House Police Station near Marina Beach in Chennai as police disperse protesters. The police officials thereafter doused the fire with the help of fire extinguishers.
