Girls outshine boys in 8th Class JKBOSE exams

JAMMU: The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education today declared the results of Class 8th, in which girls outshined boys by securing top three positions.

A total of 95.35 percent students passed in the 8th Class Annual Examination this year. The competition level
was so high in the exams that there are only eight students including six girls and two boys, who got top three
positions in the results.

The First Position was secured by Hitarthi Sharma of Oriental Academy, Second Position was secured by Anjali
Sharma of Dewan Devi Higher Secondary School Rajpura Mangotrian and the Third Position was secured by six other students including Shruti Sharma of MRP Higher Secondary School Vikas Nagar, Gurleen Kour of Shangrilla Public School, Sarwal, Amreen Akhter and Khushi Magotra of Oriental Academy.

Devansh Gupta of JK Montessorie Secondary School Talab Tillo and Aryan Zutshi of Dewan Devi Higher Secondary School Rajpura Mangotrian secured Third Positions.

Talking to The News Now, Hitharthi Sharma said that the credit for her success goes to God, her school teachers and parents, who, she said, remained instrumental since the beginning.
