On the concluding day of two-day training program on “Digital Exchange of Data and Information”, a CODER Network Mobile App was launched at SKUAST-Jammu.
The App was formally launched by Prof Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu in the presence of Dr Jag Paul Sharma, Director Research, SKUAST-Jammu and other faculty members.
The training program was organized under Networking of Multi-Institutional Cold Desert (CODER) Projects funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, New Delhi in collaboration with SKUAST-JAMMU. The training was attended by all the Principal Investigators under CODER Network family who came from different states of the Country.
Prof (Dr) Atul, Project Director (Coordination) and Dr Pranshuta, Research Associate of CODER Network Programme, provided hands on training for this App and software. The CODER Network App will bring more transparency in execution of the projects and add to the efficiency of Project Investigators.
Such innovative efforts are desired for quality research and developmental activities to reduce time gaps and to empower the qualified manpower to increase their efficiency in data sharing exchange programme. This Network Mobile App has a unique feature which will help in monitoring and evaluation of field data which can also be collected in this Mobile App both in online and off line mode and can be shared automatically as and when network will be available to all stakeholders.
